Ju Nan Shin Martial Arts Academy is dedicated to providing diverse training opportunities in a variety of martial arts and conditioning programs. Students pursue technical expertise, physical conditioning, and character development in a warm, supportive atmosphere. Students may choose to study modern eclectic or traditional martial art systems--or some combination thereof. They may choose to focus on self-defense, technical proficiency, conditioning, or competition. Whatever their choices, students will work with highly qualified instructors who have received ranks or certifications from major national organizations. 

• Bushido Jujitsu: Brazilian-style jujitsu as seen in NHB (No Holds Barred) and UFC (Ultimate Fighting Challenge) matches. High-contact, reality-based training.

• Combat Kinetics: A composite art created by a police officer for practical self-defense.

• Judo and Japanese Jujitsu: Broad-based instruction in Judo and the ancient samurai battlefield art of Japan (Jujitsu) from which it was derived. Included in the Olympics since 1964. 

• Kenpo Karate (In association with the Manchester Police Activities League): Hard-hitting and eclectic, this martial art is famous for its combat effectiveness. This art was popularized in the feature movie "The Perfect Weapon." Our Kenpo Karate class is taught by police officers with a focus on kids, self-defense, self-control, and respect for oneself and others. 

• Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido: Korean Martial Arts that encompasses dynamic kicks, punches, blocks, joint locks, throwing and pressure points. Special focus on discipline, courtesy, and character development for all ages. 

• Tai Chi: The ancient Chinese "Grand Ultimate" martial art for health and self-defense. 

• Cardio Workout: A vigorous workout involving kicks, punches, and other exercises.
